Just wanted to share the experience I just had. I GOT RAPED BY GS400! I know its a GS400 and its supposed to be faster but damn... I was coming home from work, toying around with my girl at the light in her 5speed 01 Maxima (I told her car was fast, but not with her manual skillz). So after showing her up at a few lights (thinkin im tuff shyt in my stock IS) We stop at a light and laugh and as we pull off I see some HID's and yellow fogs jump out behind her and start coming hard... So I jump on the gas too, but this car is pulling HARD more and more. I watched him go from the rearview mirror to the side mirror and out the windshield vvvvvrrrrrommmmmmmm. He pasted me at about 115-120mph and I gave up at about 130. What made it worst when we slowed up next to each other to talk. THE GUY IS FROM MY JOB, I KNOW HIM! He was laughin his ass off. He said he just brought it last week. Its not a 430 so I guess its a 00'. I tried to redeem myself by jumping him on a rolling start, which made me feel better since it was harder for him to pull away this time, just not the way he did before. I thought he had a red botton in there, I felt like Ja Rule in Fast and the Furious ahahha. When I got home my girl asked me what happen (she was wayyyy back there) and after getting cursed out, she said I guess you need what ya IS friends had in their cars at the Benz Power Trip. I got my money back from the rim fraud so now im thinkin Greddy Evo or Hiper and SRT as a start. HOLLA.....

Whats up sweetzzz. Yeah I hear ya, got burned a couple of times mistaking the GS400 for the GS300. I remember you telling me some of things those guys had. I shoulda asked them to pop the hood to take a look at the SRT. I read about SRT. Sounds good, but soldering wires, makes me a little unsure. Neither the Hiper or the 5zigen sounded too loud, from what I remember but the Hiper was huge! Have you heard the Greddy?. I am leaning toward the 5zigen for my first Mod.

Yea I know im gonna here at work tonight! ahah I felt embarassed! Its time for them mods! Yea they didnt sound loud to me either. To me the 5zigen is not enuff power. I'm looking at either the Greddy or the Hiper, were talking about $40 difference. The Hiper is nice but the can hangs low and the Greddy is a cat-back and the can is better shaped for the IS. I hear they gonna have a groupbuy in the SRT.. I think im gonna get it and if anything comes out thats better, I will sell it! I dont think my dealer will give me a hard time about the mods and dont worry about the soldering, its only 2 wires I think. I gotta start going out with them on the weekends. At first I was kinda unsure about going out with them. I thought they were older snobs, but they all seem real cool to me. I just need some ponies to keep up.

The Greddy does seem to have a much better fit. The sound seem nice..low rumble and not too loud at full throttle. Now that I research the 5zigens HP increase is kinda small..I just didn't like the fit of the others exhaust with more gains. I definitely will consider the Greddy exhaust. I know it's kinda pricey though. If there is a decent price in the group buy. I will get the intake first. A price around 525. would be at least reasonable...If it is more.. I will go with exhaust. I am feeling that RMM spoiler and grill. Damn decisions!
Lowering the car would be last on my list.
when I do it would be very moderate 1.5" tops
The TRD sways have got my eye also.
Anywayz it would have been nice to shoot down to Hot Import Nights with those guys. It would be cool to meet up with those guys, but I need to get my car right! Especially around big Daddy Rich's car.! I am keeping an eye out for him on the streets of Queens, he wont be hard to miss.

From searching it looks like the 5zigen is a 2-4hp gain and the Hiper is about 10-11hp. I believe the Greddy is about the same as the Hiper...not too sure..

Yea Prime I hear ya. I will only get the SRT if the price is right. If not Greddy all the way. I think the Greddy might have a lil more horses then the Hiper (maybe 15hp). Im going to get a Rod Millen grill too and then take off the Rod Millen signature like everyone else. I dont want any Lexus symbols on the front, my license plate says Lexus already.Let me know when you wanna order it, I think its like $255 pre-painted. I give myself til the end of july to get most of the things I want. You thinkin about some rims? Are you into chrome or silver?

Definitely into Silver rims, but I think Imma roll stock for quite some time. By the end of this month I probably will go for the grill and RMM spoiler. I saw in the forums.com that BigDaddyRich (Bdiddy) has a blue painted mesh grill for 150. I need to find out if he still has it. I also need some recommendations on a good alarm system!!!!!! Hell I need to actually consider that first before I go putting on more shiz to make my car more attractive to be stolen. Next week I going to do the calipers...I decided on Red with white stickers. I wish I had a lift!

Thats what im in the middle of doing right now (silver or chrome). I ordered chrome before but might change to silver this time. I like both, unsure which I wanna put on my car now. Yea Rich did have a SBM grill, you should send him a PM. As for alarms, I have the Clifford Intel 9000. Its a real good alarm but cost about $599. It controls my windows and the senors can be set from the remote. I'll show you one of these days. Just make sure you get a motion sensor and a loud horn (airhorn), thats what I need! Did you order the G2 paint? Its a easy process, just takes time. Try to do it a day when your not going to drive ya car and start early. I think my car is tooo quiet so im ready as soon as the pricing is right. Im looking for that number to the lexus bodyshop for ya left fender. I'll post later or tomorrow.

Definitely give me the who and where and that alarm. I need that done ASAP. The paint I am just going to buy from some one the local speed shops. It just going to be annoying to do one side at a time. Yeah definitely let me know about the body shop... Good lookin'. These scratches and little ding are annoying the hell out of me.
If your drive into the city often avoid chrome...plus your car is lowered. My cousin is out 4 rims and tires because of Potholes.

sup guys... i beg u not to get chrome... dont make ur rides look bling bling... make them look sporty with a touch of class... gets just as much attention without the ghettofied look of chrome... but then.. its ur car...so do as u please... just my opinion...

and yeah..use G2, german performance engineering caliper paint...works real good..

I am definitely not into chrome...I think it works on some color cars though..just not my taste. Plus the upkeep on damage in NYC is not worth it. I going to be rolling stock for a while. Thank god the stock allows are nice. I am going with the G2 paint by the way.
