I'm not exactly sure what you are getting out West, but $35,000 seems way above what you should pay. 1st off, are we talking about a 2001 or 2002? If its a 2001 I would want the price down more to $32,000 to $33,000. Ideally you want to negotiate to 3% of invoice. Now thats not going to happen all the time but that should be your mark. If you want a 2002, it depends on the model. The regular automatic sedan would be your best bet to get a lower price, but its going to be hard with the the manual and sportcross. What are your options for getting it from someplace else. Here in Illinois the 2001 are going around $32,000-$33,000 fully loaded. Fly out and you still would save money.

JM Lexus has an ad intoday's Sun-Sentinel Paper for a new 2001 IS 300 for $28,895 or $395 a month - not a lease you own the car. Now I know this doesn't have the options like leather package ~$1800 OR LSD ~400 but just add 'em on to the base price. Go to www.edmunds.com and price one out using TMV (true market value). I bet the dealer will take that offer.

Not a lease? Sounds too good. Where in Florida? At $400 a month, that's about $5000 a year. Count in interest, that would be a 8 year finance unless there is a substantial down payment. My guess could be way off, but $400 a month for 5 years, and $9000 downpayment?
