From what i have been reading it seems like some of the knowledge that has been learned in the compact car arena could be brought over. Such as forced induction, suspension, exhaust. stuff like that.

sorry for the rambling, but when i read on here it seems like some things said here i have read while i was in the compact cars racing scene.

so i was just trying to get a feel for it

I did own a Honda before my IS.... but it was an 86 Accord 5spd, and even with 170,000 miles, it was bone stock sans the radio which died at 150,000 miles.

former cars:

1990 mazda mpv(4wd)
1992 civic hb
1994 accord (too many mods including the orginal SKUNKWORK coilovers)
1987 toyota supra turbo(turned up the boost...didn't think ahead)
2002 is300 (getting there...)

i'm only 20, and truthfully, i think the supra was more fun then the is300

always wanted a ma70 supra, when i got rid of it, this was the closest car (spec-wise), and i had enough saved for a down-payment

i think the supra led me to buy a is300
