So I got my new tires put on today and they let me know that I had about 1-2mm of brake pad left on both my rears (this was causing the squeaking in my other thread). Anyway, they let me know that I'll be good til my appointment on Tuesday or for a couple hundred miles. I let them know that I plan on auto-xing tomorrow and they said it should be fine since most heavy braking is in the front.

This isn't a Big-O type place, they know their shit. But I'm worried. Will this much brake pad get me through the day?

You're going auto X'ing? Sweet. You should just use the ones that are on it now cause otherwise you'd have to break the new ones in and probably wouldn't have time to do it properly. Just my opinion

Is it possible that I would burn through them in five 40 second runs and eat up the rotors?
