Was wondering did anyone purchase this. I've been reading online and many people say that they do a bad job. Any comments?

Same here. I have been using it ever since I lowered by car about 3-4 years ago. The one I go to have been great but I have heard of couple of people having bad experiences with them. It all depends on the place and how they treat you. Good luck with everything.

same as everyone else has said, i've got it and it's paid for it's self a few times over. as long as the guy doing the alignment knows what he's doing you should be good :approve:

I've purchased it for three vehicles myself. Each time I purchased it it was on sale and basically equal to a couple alignments, so just twice and you get your moneys worth.

Like everyone else said, the quality of the job depends on the location and tech. Around me I have a few different locations to choose from so if I'm not happy with one, I could just take it straight to another. Luckily, I've been pretty happy with the first and only location I've taken my cars to.

i have this as well. i mean these guys are no alignment specialists to say the least. it has payed for itself though! just be picky when picking up your car and check to make sure if its right. you will know if its off by the pull! GL

technically you're supposed to have to wait 6,000 miles or 6 months (could be 3 months) between alignments, however if you went to another location saying the previous one didn't do a good job they may do it again for ya...

i think mine was like $160 for the lifetime:approve:

Ive had it for almost 3 years now. I have it on my Evo. And for me to get the camber settings i want its perfect. From West to East Coast anytime i want.

Throw the guy a 20$ on the side and hell take care of you for sure. Since the car is lowered and he had to use 2x4's to get it in place.

Obviously it's going to depend on the location and the people that work there. I have it for my car, and have had good results with them.

What's up Silverlex04? Yes, the lifetime alignment is worth it because a wheel alginment cost about $30-$60 per session, and the lifetime deal runs around $150-$170. Once you do it 3-5 times, you get your money back and more. We do own a sports car, must remember that, and we need proper maintenance if we want to enjoy it more. If you are worried about "bad jobs", try researching the Tire places aroudn your area. In my area, whom is Mira Mesa in San Diego, California, the good places are Firestone and Evans Tires, that I know off the top of my head. Also watch them do it, if possible. Hioped this post helped you answer your concern. Enjoy.

/Thread. That's all that needed to be said. One location might have great luck. while another might have shitty luck.

In my experiences, I would only use firestone's lifetime on a daily that I kept stock.

Because the lifetime alignment doesn't carry over if you have custom alignment specs; depends if you know someone.

Only issue I've had with them is their use of the HUNTER laser alignment rack. Due to my car being too low I can't make it on there. But aside from that, the alignment works? I mean It's a case by case basis really.

Got my alignment done from local firestone in Sacramento on Saturday. Specs came out good. 4 days later, brought it back in cause car just didn't feel right. Alignment redone, and specs said it was off. Does 4 days sounds too soon to have alignment thrown off?

Chances are if the specs were "good" and the car didn't feel right, they aligned the settings to just be within the boundaries instead of somewhere closer to the middle.

Example:

camber specs: -.5 to +.5

They were lazy and aligned it until it hit "-.5" or "+.5", and left it at that.

ic. thankx for the answer. but that's their problem right? Since it went off, just bring it back in and make them do it again. LOL..
