it's my understanding that once an AFR is wired in, it changes nothing in the car until it's settings are changed (i.e. just wire it up and not try to tune it).
and you can safely drive around like that until you go to a dyno shop and have them tune it so it does it's job. is this true? can you just wire it up, and not fiddle with the settings and be safe driving around for a few weeks (granted, it'd be useless but no damage can come of it), yes?
