Right now i have the 17" Dunlop Sp 9000 on my car nad its time to get a new set! I drive alot on highway and need a tire that will last for a while. The SP 9000 are nice but a lil much just for highway use.

Any suggestions on waht to look for?

If you want to give up some performance and get the longest tread life there are probably some good 40K plus tires in your size.

Yeah if you look at tirerack's website... don't get anything in the max/ultra-high performance range.

Brand & model in a 215/45/17?

Yokohama Avid H4S Is available in a 225/45R17 for sure which will fit fine. it may be available in a 215 as well.....Treadwear 500 Traction AA Temp A

I've had Kumho ASX's on for 15k miles, they will probably last another 5k.

Only two choices.
Yokohama Avid H4S or Michelin Primacy MXV4.
All others in this size have less than 500 treadwear rating.
I have the Yokos on my AllTrac and they handle surprisingly well.
