Just installed the HIDs, and it seems as though the daytime lights are on as well when I switched it on. Did I mess up the wiring?:suspiciou
If not, then what kind ov DRLs would match nicely with my HIDs (8000k).

only LED will only match nicely with the HID...check out v-leds.com

You gotta get the 9005 bulbs that are LED"s....


You'll get a nice blue/white look at night, but they are invisible during the day.

Unfortunately, you'll lose your high beam capabilities because the DRL's are also the same bulbs as your high beams.

ooic. Yea i'm thinkin bout either grabbin the PIAA extreme whites or disabling the DRL. Question: If I disable the DRL, that would also disable it during the day as well? Or only at night. T

I'm thinking about buying these to go with my HIDs.. you might want to check them out, they're a little pricey though.

Your DRLs are the same bulb as your high beams. As mentioned like 5 posts earlier in the thread.

DRLs are just the high beams run at very low power.

Just have the dealer turn em off and retain the use of your high beams. Your other option is putting in LEDs which makes your high-beams useless.
