okay, I had LCA575 build me some black housing with DDE headlights, and they have been working fine for the most part, but for the last month, when you cut them on, about a minute later the left one starts to flicker really fast, and then it will go out.Completly.I am wondering whether this is a bad ballast, or a bad bulb, or a bad connection.I had a local car stereo shop that is very knowledgable about cars, who also hooked up the dde's, check the connections.He says they are all tight.What could this be?

You should get a bright flash when you first turn the lights on. Does the bad one do that?

yes they both work fine for the first 5 minutes, then the left one just flickers for about a minute,really fast, then it dies.

sounds like a faulty ballast to me, but i don't know that much about HIDs.. i know the bulbs are harder to blow than the ballasts..
