Article in New York Times speaks about HID lites being stolen. Appears to be Honda/Acura lites, primarily, but who knows?

Yeup, you can pull the fender lining down easily and grab the actual cable that controls the latch from the inside of the car. If you're smart you'll re-route that a lot higher in the engine bay to prevent stuff from happening. It's like that on Hondas as well.Originally posted by CL Boy:
that article was good except for one thing. the reason so many acura lights are being stolen is because the hood release cable on the CLs and TLs is accessible through the wheel well. its on the TL forum somewhere if you are interested. but thats why the other companies arent being stolen
