18x8.0 front +48
18x9.0 rear +55

Would these fit and with what size tires?

Naw, I think he said that because of the overall tire diameter.
The "optimum" setup with 225s in front is what he said above. 8)

p.s. what ya getting?

I am considering these, SSR Competition in Anthracite (only 15 lbs per wheel!)

yeah, what he said. that combo gives you the same overall diameter front and rear to keep the ABS happy. 40s in the back with a staggered setup would make the rear tires bigger.
