I know a guy who is selling some 18" Lowenhart BR5s in silver. But the thing is, is that he had them on a GS, so the sizes are 18x8.5 in the front and 18x9 in the rear. The front tires are 235/40/18 brand new and there are no front tires. He doesnt know the offset. Is there a way to know if I would have to roll or shave my fenders if I dont know the offset? Anybody know what the offset probably is with knowledge of GS's? Can I be sure it wont rub if I stay below a certain tire width in the rear? I read some earlier threads but it seems that there are mixed reviews.

Secondly, I havent seen them but, he says they are in good condition and was originally selling for $2000 but is willing to deal. What do you guys think is a good deal for these (remember I still have to buy rear tires), assuming they are in good condition? If I bought these for 2000, plus 2 tires (about 250) that is close to 2500 for used rims! I can get brand new ones for about 3000 (plus tires) with the width i want.
