Thanks guys! No I was tired after a long day and turned the crank with the T belt off! If anyone else reads this regarding the T belt DIY !!!!!DO NOT TURN THE CRANK UNTIL T BELT IS ON!!!!!! once you get it lined up. I knew it as soon as I did it - lesson learned!

Haha, it's a real shame the VVT-i motors weren't designed to be non-interference like their non-VVT-i counterparts

But did you end up damaging another head?

Yea I wish it was too - I wouldn’t have jacked my valves and not been driving my old 98 K1500 truck for 2 months :LOL: - No I am assembling it all now. My posts above are to just run it by you guys to make sure all is well before I put T belt on etc.
