hey guys, i'm new here!!!
I've always loved toyota and lexus. so! i'm thinking about getting an IS300.
I'd like to know what's the 1/4 mile time for IS300...
some ppl say it's high 14s, some say it's mid 15s...
I wanna know the numbers for both manual and auto tranny...
and numbers with I/H/E...i don't think i can afford turbo or S/C any time soon...

I really want to be able to run at least 15 flat with my new car...
if IS can do 15 flat with I/H/E, i will definately go with IS300.

so you want an is300 you say. you came to the right place but you got to use the search key or you will get flamed like a mofo around here. but i'm stuck in afghnistan so i'll be nice. to run 15 flat stock in the quarter you'd have to drive like a madman or be really good like GTE. i personally got 15.4 with a little over 3k. you'd definitely get that with i/h/e. i remember someone getting 14.7 with those mods. the numbers lexus gives for the manual and e-shift are 15.1 and 15.5 respectively.

I ran a 15.1 with just an SRT intake.

Doublins ran a 14.7 with a SRT intake, Xerd Race pipe, and Greddy Evo.

its hard to say a quarter mile time espeically on manuel becuase SO much depends on the driver...GTE ran a 14.9 stock but he is a phenomenal driver (from what ive heard) if your good you could run 14.9 to 15.1 stock but im thinking with I/H/E you could run 15 flat easy on a stick..anyways GET THE IS you wont regret it 8)
