HELP.... Buy 2001 Model or Wait for 02?

Need advice from some of you IS300 guru's out there.. Dilemma is buy a 2001 IS300 now and purchase an aftermarket navigation system or wait until the 2002's come out which has the navigation system as a dealer option? I presumme that the new 2002 will be going for MSRP when they come out and according to the Lexus dealership that I went to, they do not know when these will be in. (How can that be??) From the articles that I have read, the 2002 models are slated for arrival in July/August(??).

Also, can anyone point me in the right direction to where I can see the many different types of spoilers that are out on the market for the IS300? In addition, does anyone have any recommendations on a good navigation/cd/dvd system that will look good in the IS300?

uch assistance would greatly be appreciated!!

WAIT!!!! That was my dilema but about 2 months ago. It is really worth waiting at this point. 2 months isnt bad at all. It depends on whether you desire imediate gradification or if you has the tollerance to wait. If i were in your seat right now i would most likely go out and buy it without a doubt but that is my problem, i rush into things and then always wish i waited. The 2002 comes with so much more (XCept Spectra Blue, wtf were they thinking) so if you really want Spectra Blue get it now. I do here there is a shortage on SBM though.

Your just gonna pay MSRP for all this if u wait the 2 months, why not be different and get a NAV u like, i know stock is easy, but its like all of us having the same rims, that hasn't lasted long.

I posted a thread called 2002 changes and it has a list and a link to all the changes that will be made to the IS300 for 2002. I think it is worth the wait but that is a personal thing.
I have heard two different people say there will be auto dimming mirrors and that the SBM color will not be available. I can't find that anywhere in the literature or press releases. If anyone has confirmation of either of these let me know.
