right now i have a JL 10" W7 and the 500/1 JL amp and I am intersted in replacing my head unit with an eclipse deck and also putting in eclipse components and rear speakers. Has anyone had any problems with the electrical system b/c when my friend had to re-wire his system, he ran into all types of really bad problems and I am concerned that it will happen to me! PLus if you have any reccomendations other than eclipse please let me know know. Thanks guys =)

Download correct wiring diagram for your model year and use it as a guide.
Your installer should be able to figure it out. Keep in mind, stock amp can not be used w/o stock headunit.
