ok.. im plan'n on buyin a wing for my IS on that page.. and wondering if anyone has or going to buy one from them...does the custom painted ones match..does it look nice...does a spoiler from the dealer has a LED light on it???
I got it from the dealer for $400. I think Sportwing selling it for 237(painted). You'll need to give them your paint code. Yes, the color will match pretty good. At least your eye won't be able to tell the diff. Anyway, I decided to have the dealer does mine (It's the same one above). Remember, $237 is not including installation yet. So for $400 I don't have to worry about shipping, product damage, installation...etc
I got mine from Blankenship aero here in Texas. They also did my woodgrain. The color was exact and the price was reasonable. Come to find out they're the company in my area where this dealer orders from.
im going to order one tomorrow.. and wondering if any of you guys know how much it would cost if i let the dealers install it... im just scared to drill holes on my car... scary thang... any info would help.. thanks
As promised, I received my "Auburn Sky Pearl" spoiler today. I'm Looking forward to seeing the color match in the daylite, but under the garage lights, it looks like a perfect match. Looks like the install will be pretty easy. Hardware, template, wiring, connectors, and instructions included. Wish me luck, I've never drilled holes in a $30K+ car before. . . . but there's always a first time.
Just wanted to let y'all know that the installation of the spoiler was easy as pie. Once I got past the apprehension of drilling the holes in the trunk. The template provided and the wiring instructions made it a snap. The color match is perfect!! It took less than an hour.
does sportwing offer a spoiler thats kinda tall, but not too tall? I like the honda accesory wing on the 6th gen honda civic, and I woudl think one liek thta would look sweet on the IS, but without the LED.
The one that sportwing offers for the IS is not very tall, approximately 4" to the top of it from the trunk deck. It is a little smaller than the dealership spoiler I have on my GS300. I think it looks just as good, if not better.
