So ive finished my motor and the only thing I have left to complete my swap is to decide on an ECU. Im going standalone but will be running parallel with the stock IS ecu. My tuner recommended either AEM or Haltech. Ive been searching but looking for people with personal experience with either of the mentioned companies. Pros, cons, certain models to stay away from? I personally was leaning towards a haltech but not a clue as to which one to get. Anyways, any help would be great.

I have the haltech sprint 500. From what my tuner told me personally. He loves it because of how simple it is to use versus other standalone ecu. My only guess is that it lacks more features than an aem standalone. Hope that helps.

I'm getting tuned by alpha next week, if you can wait I can ask him your question and get his feedback
Yea sounds good, what kind of power are you making or looking to make with the 500? My only issue is i have to run whatever i get parallel to the IS ecu so i can pass emissions.
