A friend and i both drive IS300's and both have H&R springs and his sits signaficantly lower then mine? He said he's running totiko struts, but i don't see how that could make his car an inch lower then mine???

i think the older H&Rs are lower than the new ones.

The older H&Rs probably sag more than the newer ones. Or yours hasn't sagged enough.

Its not a sag issue here guys, if this site hadn't archived a ton of posts you could find a group buy i did in 01.

The first stage II hr's were over a 2 inch drop on the box, then at some point they changed the drop to under 2 inches.

Im currently dumped, i plan to call HR and see what my specs should be vs the new ones. Im getting new tires put on soon and if they rub and I have new shocks then I will know my springs are starting to sag and give out.

are both IS the same year? i know up here in canada the IS sits about 0.20" lower than the US model(according to specs). if the struts are not the same you have to measure the distance between the perch and the lower mounting hole, providing the strut mounts are the same.

Do the Tokico struts have a lower perch than stock struts?
