Finally got rid of the spacer for My Axis Milano.
I grinded down the bracket that house the brake pads. Using a Makita hand held metal grinder it is a 5 min job to grind in down.

Only grinded slightly about 1mm -2mm. repainted the bracket and now I omitted the 3mm space.

Now I can use the Hub centric ring and full stud thread..

Do you have any pics of the grinded brake bracket? I really want to get those rims as well....here in switzerland...but first I would like to check what exactly needs to be done to get these fit.

BTW, do you guys have a standard offset of 50mm as well?

yes the stock wheels are 17x7" with a +50 offset

to answer your question the part that needs to be ground away is the 'ridge' on the caliper. if you shave it even with the rest of the caliper it should give you enough clearance
