I don't know if it's just me or what but the car feels much, much more responsive. I tried to duplicate the problem and NO LUCK yet. I drove it all day Monday and could not get it to hesitate. The car feels faster to me!! If nothing else, I can tell something WAS done. The only BAD thing was that they had my car for 2 days and gave me the only loner they had....LS430. Too sad for me huh. hehehe.
GOT ECU/TRAC done lastweek. WOW!!!!!!!!

Man, Lexus of Austin is CHEAP, they are too damn cheap to even give us lexus as loaners. They use Enterprise rentals, so that means corrolas and sentras for you buddy, that is what they gave me. They even gave a guy in a RX300 and a new LS430 one, when I took mine in for service. That is crazy, they are trying to save money, I guess. Hey, how long have you had your IS in Austin, how bad is the hesitation? I think since there are signs of the ISers growing in Austin we should have a little meet. I met up with Jdogg and another guy named flip with a green IS. So only 3 enthusiast so far. Let me know what you think.

corollas and sentras? I could have sworn I saw some chick the other day drop off her ES and then drive off in an RX. Damn, I can't be driving a freakin' Sentra after having been in my IS all this time. Better to get a ride from a buddy than to be seen in an inferior vehicle such as a Nissan.

I couldn't believe it myself when they gave me one, I put my head down everytime a car passed by me, it didnt even have power! WTF- one bad experience. Atleast they repainted my hood for the chip I had, under warranty. I thought atleast they would give me the yellow IS test car, but NO! My moms friend has a RX300, and they gave her a corrolla for her service issues.

My ECU fix is on order. Now I can hardly wait!
Did you guys have to go to the dealer before getting your part ordered or just call the dealer? My local dealer is telling me that I need to have a tech inspect before allowing the update to be done. Is this the same that everybody else had to go through?

No, I just asked and they put me on the list. He wrote down some numbers from my vehicle. That's all.

Nope... No IS loaner for even the short timers. took mine in for an oil change and steering wheel replacement and I was stuck with a Sentra as well
Those bastards didn't even wash my car when they were done. The reason: My windows were just tinted. WTF??? you dont wash the insideof my car do you
so from now on I drive my happy ass an hour away to Lexus of San Antonio. where they give you Lexus loaners if available and are kina cool about mods done to your car.
