My fuel pump just threw in the towel. Our cars dont have timing belts but the chain probably must be removed to get at it, so how much? Anyone have this done recently? I'm wondering what the bill should be.

Thanks.

huh?

an is300 has a belt, and the fuel pump is under the rear seat like a 2 minute job to replace...

Thanks for the info

For some reason I thought the IS had a timing chain, as opposed to a rubber belt that needed to be changed. Sounds good that the pump is easy to get at.

So thanks for the info.
