do you have to drop the gas tank in order to install the fuel pump?? or can you access it another way... maybe taking out the back seat and takin it out from the top vs the bottom?????

take out your backseat, you will see little plastic like screws (3), take those off, then their will be a bunch of little screws undo them and then the fuel pump will be accessable. takes maybe 30mins-1 hr.

yep...remove the rear seat...its right behind the driver under the seat.

I did this the other week. What a PITA. I hate gas and I hate electrical. Throw those together and I'm a chickenshit. I still did it with a couple phone support calls. Thanks GTE and Jeff.

make sure you are delicate with the sending unit and that you hook the hose from the other side of the tank, back to the venturi valve
