I am getting ready to install some gauges in my 2002 MT in preparation for some boost. I have a quick quesiton before I order my gauges. Obviously an electronic fuel pressure gauge is recommended due to the safety concerns of a mechanical gauge(even if an isolator is installed). Is there a wire in the ECU harness that can be used to monitor fuel pressure or can it be found at the fuel pressure regulator? Any information or tips that you can offer would be appreciated.

the car does not monitor varying fuel pressure

you have to install a sending unit, and hook that up to your gauge

get an electronic gauge, and simply tap a hole in your fuel rail for the sensor- I screwed my sensor (greddy electronic gauge) directly into the fuel rail by tapping a hole in that pre-made raised section between cylinder 1 and 2- if you look, you will see what i mean.
