I already snatched a set for myself, which is why I'm selling some new H&R springs I bought. The lowest price I found for these anywhere before now is shox.com for $850. Other places they're around $1,100. I know alot of people haven't heard of B+G but there are a couple people on here with their springs and if you Google B+G you won't find anything negative AT ALL, it's all positive. Anyone who has them loves them. More popular in the European scene I guess. They're made in Sweden by Lesjofors, which is one of the largest spring manufacturers in Europe. I've also read that these are rebadged Intrax coilovers.

I know we can't post eBay links but if you search for IS300 Shock kit they'll come up. Weird way to list them I know but it's a liquidation company that may not know much about automotive performance parts. There's only one set on there now but like I said I just bought a set and a day later they listed another.

I'm just excited to have found this deal and wanted to share. I thought about buying and reselling them but I'd rather see someone else get a good deal and enjoy them.

The B&Gs are nice. I had them on my IS300 back in 2002. With a 1" drop, they are perfect. The car handled like it was on rails. literally... I carved through the canyons any chance I had. I wanted a lower stance, and when I did that, the coilovers turned my car into a shopping cart. Every bump, stick, or piece of dirt was felt throughout the car. It still handled like nobody's business, but back in '02, the IS300 was considered a luxury sport sedan, and for a $30k+ car, I thought it should ride better. If you guys keep this at a slight drop and not slam it, you'll love it.

To my knowledge all aftermarket IS300 suspension is compatible through the entire '01-'05 production. That is just a typo or they didn't know better, because there are no '99-'00 IS300s.

PM sent. The price went up to $449 probably because of the unexpected demand lately. Still a steal.

Ahem.

I'm still waiting on a shock dyno?

You know. The most important information you can get regarding coilovers.

As opposed to price and looks.

I've researched B+G and feedback from those who own/use their products as much as possible and for my needs, I felt confident buying/trying them without dyno graphs.

If you're seriously interested, after I install them if I find a local/affordable place to have them dynoed I'll do so and get you the results.

i cant find any specs at all on these things cept ride height adjustability and they're apparently 18 way adjustable dampening... anymore info? spring rates? camber adjustment? upper mounts included in that kit? cuz it dont seem so... albeit a spectacular price for coilovers i wanna know that im not wasting 450 cuz it makes more sense to spend the money now on one great set of coilovers rather than spending less and getting crap... so im eagerly awaiting some more info on these! flatline is do u think they'd be alright for mild track use as well? im not particularly bothered about every day use cuz roads down here really suck anyway.

These type of coilovers are supposed to be for the track. DDing on them wasn't really in mind when most coilovers are made.

In theory they should work. But not much can be said without a dyno plot.

Which is important but many people look over.

Something so simple can tell you if it's worth the money or not.

It is very subjective as to how people refer to with statements as, "handle", "feel sick", "handle abuse".

Everything is relative to whomever is obviously making the comment, and the experience level of the person involved.

I would take most avg. person's opinions and throw it out the window because they are inexperienced and opinions aren't valid due to the lack of experience.

I cannot believe that a coilover in this price bracket can have anything resembling proper bump response, especially at this stiffness level

If you want a proper grip coilover, you'll have to get Koni, Penske, JRZ, Bilstein, Ohlins, etc..

These Japanese-designed, ??-made cheapo aftermarket coilovers lack proper valving. Their stiffness is a liability when trying to walk the razor's edge of maximum adhesion.

To tell the truth, I'm just upset that I didn't think to take cheap dampers and sell them off as JDM to make mad $$$, or take a modular design and market the flaws in poor fitment as "dual height adjustable!"

But some just want their car stiff as dicks on viagra...
