I'm tying to up my performance and MPG a small bit by adding a new intake, filter an exhaust.

The JoeZ intake and a K&N drop in filter are enroute, now I need an exhaust.

My goals.

EASY to install. I'm brand new to working on cars beyong audio stuff.

PRICE vs performance. a small increase for a LARGE price is not what im looking for. I just need better then stock.

SOUND. I would prefer something near stock sound. I dont want to sound like a ricer or resonate the police after me, but I know an aftermarket will be louder. I just dont want it to WAY louder.

Some suggestions and some average prices would be awsome.

Thanks!

say, aftermarket header Only, for awhile!?

really just in my opinion, i don't have a plan on getting aftermarket exhaust at All unless boosting my 05' is300. exhaust upgrade on is300 are nothing but a sound (raspy, specially without aftermarket header/racepipe). some say yea it gains some HP, but hey 10-15HP? :pissed: give me a break. i rather save my hundreds till i have enough budget for boost upgrade!

I gotta disagree with you on this one...Under normal driving, my cat-back exhaust isnt excessively loud (of course its going to be loud at high rpm and with headers/racepipe) there is an improvement in throttle response, it looks clean and sounds great when you open it up...
