Hi guys. I've a strange fault on my IS300h, it's a 2013 model. On pressing the start button the air con controls are dead other than the Auto light on the button, then after about 30 seconds the screen comes on and all buttons function normally. However, the system switches on at 24 to 28 degrees centigrade! I've run a self test and it gives code 55 which I think, is heater resistor bank 1 sensor 3.
So, does anybody have any idea what and where this sensor might be?

It may be the controls. Unless you have a Techsteam. You will not see code issues with the HVAC system. The 55 code is a bad O2 sensor or the fuse is blown on the heater for it.

Thanks for that, I'll check the fuses as that rings a bell, the sound went dead one day last week, all radio and screen feedback sounds but switch car off and back on cured it. So maybe a control fuse threw a spurious signal out.
