I called up local Lexus dealers and they said $59.99 for just oil change. $180 if I want tire rotation included. I'm thinking "WTF"
So I decided to do it myself.
As far as oil change goes, it went smooth except when I got to the oil filter. It's so hard to get at.. I took it off and good amount of oil was spilled.
So wondering what you guys do to make this whole process as "clean" as possible. Any tricks?

Also I couldn't find the drain plug for tranny fluid. Is it hard to change it?

1) There is a topic on the same page about oil change
2) Per Lexus manual, tranny fluid is to be changed only under severe driving conditions, such as towing a trailer. Copy of the manual is available upon request.
