Edmunds TMV: Is this right?

I just used Edmunds pricing tool to price out a 2001 IS300 with most options (heated seats, LSD, Lux Leather Pkg, Sunroof) and the TMV was:

$30,253. Invoice was $30,561.

Is this right? I did use Edmunds to get negotiate a Maxima AE and actually got TMV. But the TMV for the IS300 seems to good to be true. Can't wait to see what the salesperson has to say about this!

I walked off the floor with a
2001 IS300 Auburn Sky
Escaine Black Interior
Spoiler
Wheel locks
Trunk mat
Sun roof
Homelink
with tax, title and fees for
$34,140.00
So I don't think the TMV you got can be right
So that meens the total price of the vechile I got without taxes and stuff came to
$31,553.13

Actually, the Edmunds TMV used a $1000.00 Dealer Rebate in it's calculation. The rebate ended two weeks ago (in April). So if you add $1000.00 to the TMV, the price will be pretty accurate.

There's the dealer holdback too. I think Edmunds has that at $600 or so.
well, that sucks if i just missed the rebate

I walked out paying 30,100.00. For mine.
I had a customer Saturday who pulled up the TMV on the showroom Internet computer. TMV was $29 and some change. I finally showed him that the invoice price was $30,621 and questioned why we would sell at less than invoice? I offered to sell him an IS at $31,899 which is a pre-negotiated price. The GM didn't think he was a buyer, so I offered to sell at $1000 over invoice and lastly at $500 over invoice. The GM was right, the customer didn't buy.
I'm in the market for an IS300 right now.

So are you guys saying that the Edmunds TMV price is way off the mark? How much over invoice are the IS's selling for these days? I was hoping to get one at invoice with the dealer making his profit off the holdback, is this realistic at all up here in Silicon Valley?
