If I get the SRT intake with the "race" ECU will that void my warranty? I've read the sticky about dealers not being able to void warranty's as long as it is DOT certified or something like that but when it comes to ECUs what's the policy. Thanks for any help

I believe SRT race ECU will void the factory ECU warranty..... but I don't think they really care cuz they can't see.....

I have it in my car, and nobody gave me a crap yet....

IF they can prove that is the problem, its void.

But, most places will give you a hard time if it is remotely close to being the problem (fouled plugs, etc)

Yup, once you mod you can start kissing things like this out the door....

Any time you go splicing and cutting things (like the piggyrace ECU) into your car wiring don't expect to keep much of a warranty on anything.

Will I be okay warranty wise if I just go with something like the Injen intake which doesn't involve messing with the ECU at all?
