[Tucson Gearhead]

I have a nice 2008 IS350...and the owner's manual does not really explain the "power" switch. It says that on the "power" setting, it gives faster acceleration...I wonder how ? Does anyone know specifically what that switch does ? It seems to raise shift points, and lock up the converter more quickly...maybe change throttle response...what does it REALLY do ? I wonder if it worsens gas mileage ? Any help appreciated. Thanks, Doug
