Does anyone have this. It says it adjusts or Air Fuel mixture. Does this come with a mass air meter. It looks like it is just an air filter.

About 15 ppl so far have the Intake and LOVE it

It is the complete intake with ECU..do a search on intake here in the forum cause there is LOTS of pictures of it around....

You can't be serious about the 17hp 17lbft gain. If you drive your IS300 on a hot day and a cold day, the change in air density/temp is greater than you could ever get from an air filter, yet, you don't feel much change in HP. Dinan claims 12 hp from their chip, yet C&D measured 0 hp gain, so I'm pretty skeptical about claimed HP gains.

I don't know much about mods, i am wondering would this do anything to void the manufactures warranty.... I am leasing mine and i can't do to many things to this car, since it is a lease. Also do you do in shop work? Because i would not mind driving down to Maryland to get this done.

Question... If I get this Intake for my auto IS300 would I be able to take it out and put in the 5speed when it comes out??? Im just thinking down the road...

good question sweetzzz. I was thinkin the same thing. SRT ... how bout it? wil it work or will the 5spd have a different ECU that needs a different subcomputer?

ckolsen: it is not claimed HP it has been dyno tested and proven. Check out our web site and read the numerous responses from customers that have the unit already.

Spectra1: It is your call the mods are not so permanent that you cannot reverse it.

Sweetzzzz & Rarjoon: The intake assembly should fit just perfect and so should the ECU, maybe the wiring schematics maybe different, we will update the wiring schematics and provide reprograms if necessary for a nominal fee of $50 +s/h.

Tell me when this deal ends 'cause I'm gonna get it at the last minute- kinda broke right now.

Muhammed, it's something I'll look into if I get a 5 speed IS300. But what about Dinan, they have dyno data supporting their chips, but Car & Driver did dyno tests and found no gain. Other manufacturers have advertised dyno data that cannot be backed up by independent sources. It makes it hard to trust anyone even if they have dyno results.

ckolsen, I guess the only way to be sure is to try it yourself.

Muhammad, does it affect emissions in anyway ? Is it emissions legal in California ?
