ok guys. i want to replace my OEM headrests with dual video headrests. i went to a lexus dealer. the dealership is selling a unit made by Invision Industries (http://www.invisionindustries.com). the price is $2400 installed ($2100 if the car was purchased in that dealership). my questions are: is this a normal or expected price for a unit like this and are there alternatives?

thanks!

lets just say that the dealer overprices everything...look into savv (http://www.savv.com/headrest.html) , these are direct replacements just like those, just a lot cheaper around 1000-1200 for the pair get a dvd player off ebay for a couple hundred...than find a local audio shop to install them for $300 or less..much better picture and a helluva lot cheaper.

I did the 7" SAVV monitors in RX300 headrests with an F/M Modulator and a Rosen 10-Disc DVD changer w/ remote-eye for $2k installed. It came with 2 infrared headphones too.

The SAVV units are great. I have 2 of the 5.6" screens and they make road trips very nice!!!
