Man you gotta learn to "profile" (angle) the car outa steep drive ways.

I had a friend that had a slammed Civic with a body kit. One time while he was coming out of a steep alley his front scraped the ground and pulled his body kit's front bumper right off!!

yeah, you need to profile. And make sure that you dont have lots of fat people in your car. My friend's civic bottomed out hardcore yesterday when he backed up off of a lawn he parked on(dont ask) cause he had these 2 big fat kids in the car.

Yes, did it twice; once on a high driveway curb and once on a very small parking lot bar. I think for the driveway situation, an angled-reverse would've been the answer.

By the way, what are those two flaps hanging in the front??

If you mean those things (spats/fairings) in front of the front tires, they are used to reduce drag by deflecting the airflow around the tires.
