I'm happy i'm not the only one dealing with that routine of readjusting the mirror, as i park on the street often and fold
my mirror(s).
I have a very (anal) precise routine for re-adjusting my mirrors: I sit dead center in my seat, arms out, hands at 10/2. i then look left, checking that I can just barely see maybe 1-2 cm of the REAR door handle in the top 1/3 of my mirror. any less I have a huge blind spot (damn huge c-pilars) any more and I'm looking up at suv's and 2 lanes over.
