Drager II claims 7-8hp, the most of almost every exhaust (rear end... not custom full exhaust of course). I have the EVO though and I'm satisfied with it. Supposed to only give around 5hp (rw)... but one thing I have noticed:

I added an open-element intake and many people claim with those you'll lose low end torque (but have more high end). With the cat-back EVO, I didn't notice a loss in torque, so that's a plus of the EVO. I think the Drager tip fits a little better into the bumper molding though.

If I had to do it over again, I can't say I'd pick one over the other. They're both awesome exhausts. :D

when i had my dragger II, there was very noticeable loss of low-end.
my car lagged like a biyAAtch
never had that problem....I guess depends on other mods along with it....in fact, i've pulled on IS's who have the greddy evo, talk about noticeable loss of low-end...

^^ check that out. pulled directly from page 1:

"Note: For Better Clearance for the Hiper exhaust with a slight loss of power use the HKS Dragger II(2). An alternative for the L-Tuned is the 5Zigen exhaust which is arguably as quiet. For the most clearance Exhaust use the Greddy Evo"

I agree with you for the most part... but the loss of low end torque can make little stop light to stop light sprints alot less fun. Personally, I'm not about the 1/4 mile. Havent ran it, dont think I will... So this seems like a pretty valid question... I know I'm interested.

with my dragger II i noticed a small, and i mean small lag on the low end. but i have a manual, so its easy to compensate with a little more aggresive gas clutch action. but i would deff. give that up for the beautiful sound that it produces. plus i did notice a little improvement on the top end. get the dragger II. perfect sound, and great ground clearance!!!

i went from the EVO to the Dragger II recently and i pulled more power with the Dragger II than the EVO on the dyno. but with Low end i feel more with the Dragger II than the EVo with my set up.

I like both exhaust, both sound great. dragger II fits better in the exhaust opening, and i havent scratched the bottom of the dragger yet as i used to with the EVO.

i have the EVO and love it and have since i got it. I have the Injen intake, SAFC, EVO combo for open airways. I felt a small bit of lag in the low end so i fixed it with the SAFC. now i have no lag really on the low end and top end screams like crazy. The tone of the EVO is awsome and i would highly recommend it. --matt
