I have noticed when I turn the car either right or left and take off from a stop, that the car shudders a bit. I tried turning off the TRAC, but it still happens. What is this??? Is it the brakes being applied by some type of traction control system or LSD?

Thanks. By the way, it's silver with black interior.

Yeah..it 'shudders' for a second or two but no big problems.

Was trying to find a word to fit this description a while back.

Just hate the feeling for those two quick seconds...

I think it is part from the LSD and part from the fact that the tire is skipping (not sliding). I have experienced this before in the Formula SAE car equiped with Torsen, so I think it is normal. But I know it is an uncomfortable feeling.

No, it is a little vibration/shaking you get when you accelerate hard in turns (well sometime on the straight if you don't have much traction). I've only experienced this when the TRAC is not activated, that is why I am saying it is probably the LSD.

I've notice the shuddering too on my car. I believe the LSD is causing this. It doesn't matter if TRAC is on or off. My friend who has the IS300 w/o LSD said he doesn't have that problem or noticed any shuddering. I think this is normal for cars with LSD.

I have noticed that the car is a little rougher at the start with the power button on. When the button is off, it seems much smother. The feeling is ever so slight, and I though it might be my imagination. Any one else feel the same?
