i wasj jst thinking that maybe the IS300 could share parts with other Lexus vehicles or maybe even other toyotas.... and im not talkin about the badges...
maybe filters, or rotors....

Yeah, it shares the same engine as the GS300 and Toyota Supra (non-turbo) and I'm sure lots of other small parts (like seatbelts and stuff).
Pardon my ignorance, but rotors? Are we talking about an aircraft or a wankel or what?

well duh... everybody knows that the IS300 shares the 2JZ engine... im talkin about parts that i can readily upgrade like brake rotors or filters... etc....

The Motorola Cup IS300 uses brakes from the GS400. And I know there are kits for the GS/SC series to use Supra brakes, so I have to imagine they all use the same wheel hub and brake assembly.
