Someone said that "you lose power with intake and exhaust W/O SAFC2"
I have an injen intake and a greddy evo exhaust. is this true ? Do I need a SAFC ?

that's usaully true for smaller displacement engines (i4's)
he has the concept down, but not to the illest degree....

but the 3.0 is a moderate size engine and you will see some gains without dynoing and tuning

muscle guys bolt on exhaust systems and turn out 20-25hp to the wheel
honda guys do it and loose 1-2hp....
we could safely say you would gain 5hp with no tuning(conservative)

basic rule of thumb i use=the more airflow, the more power the bolt-on will produce....applies to whether it's a large engine, high rpm engine, force inducted...

So I would need a dyno to tune it ? How much more power do you think that I could make by adding the SAFC ? Is it worth doing ?

with the correct tuning, usually you will make the claimed product-manufacturer's power rating

with out it.... i would say half or maybe less....it varies with parts

play it conservative until you've got it dyno-ed to back your results
