Why do you have to go to the DMV yourself? The car dealer have forgot to give me the inspection sticker too, but i called them and said will give me one this saturday when i bring the car in for 1,000 mile service.

oneeyejack,
don't you have your car inspected once a year? even for new cars they still have to give a an inspection sticker.. i think all 50 states are the same for this, cops can give you a ticket if you don't that inspection stick..

That is not true, i bought the car in NJ but registered w/ NY.. they didn't send me the plates, but have to picked up myself from the dealer.. they will give me a inspection sticker when i have the car in for 1,000 miles service since they have it forgotten. i will let you know when i have it..
