Hey guys,

I'm going to look at an 03 is300 in a few days. The car is relatively clean and untouched, just a few minor scratches on the interior plastics (130k miles. Manual tranny, body is gorgeous). The only problem the current owner is having is a P0430 CEL code. The guy says he took it to an exhaust shop he trusts and had them check for exhaust leaks or a bad O2 sensor and it was neither, so the cat is shot. I'm fine with that, as I planned on adding some Dezod red headers anyway, but the current dilemma i'm facing is that I can't find any O2 simulators anywhere!

All of the threads i've come across have been really informative and helpful, but they're all a few years old and now it seems like every manufacturer of O2 sims for the is300 is defunct. So is there any trusted seller of after-cat O2 sims around anymore? Or will I have to make my own?

It's not essential that I run the sims because my county has no emissions testing, but i'd rather not have my CEL on just in case a genuine problem pops up. Sorry if this question has been asked recently, I tried a search and couldn't find anything.

Good luck with the car. I myself have been looking for a O2 sim for awhile. So far no luck but I did do the spacer mod for the O2 and that has seemed to work for now. I will be installing my turbo kit on later on so I will need to do more about the O2 sensors then.

I will have to look into the spacer mod. Just curious, what headers are you running?

P.S. Check out the Fig Engineering Headers.

Not cheap but if you are sticking on the NA Route this would be your best choice.
- I spoke with Mike not that long ago and he said he can have spacers or an L Fitting welded onto them to offset the sensor from the main stream of non-catted exhaust. Should not fault the CEL - Plug & Play.

Pay a little more and hassle a little less... I suppose the choice is yours.

Message Karl Long on facebook. He makes O2 Sims for our cars. nice guy who also builds harnesses for our cars for aftermarket ECU's. His sims are very similar to what token was making, and are pnp.

I have stock headers as of now. I have a turbo kit needing to be installed.

I will have to check these sites out.

I noticed today that Karl Long is taking pre orders on O2 Sims. He will buy the parts and make them once he gets enough people interested. Might want to get in on it.
