Well, after almost 2 months of waiting, I just got a call that the replacement to my broken dead pedal is in. They told me that it took longer because many have broken and they have modified it to make it stronger.

That's how long it took to get mine replaced too...

I had two problems: pedal loose on the same axis as my ankle, and a couple of the larger rubber "buttons" collapsed and oozed some liquidy material.

The day after my new one was installed it too had a broken button and the ooze. Another one's on order.

Lets hope the service manager was right and this is an improved one. I see you use your pedal as vigorously as I do.
