Cant get much worse then this. Thursday im goin home from Fast and Furious (4th time) and i get on the ramp to 95 towards trenton. I got pulled over but i wasnt speeding! He comes up to me and tells me to roll down my window. He checks my tints and they are 11% on his test thing. He asks me about my clear parking lights and he gets back in his car. After 20 min, he comes back up to my car, slashes my tints with razor, and gives me a $94 ticket for them, a $66.50 for the lights and $66.50 for driving past 12 with junior licence. so you think thats bad... Fukin yesterday (sunday) i get to a light with a camaro z28 reving its engine. Light turns green we both go, he stops, i keep goin, next thing i see is red and blue lights, damn cops. He gives me a $241 ticket for "drag racing" and a $265 ticket for reckless driving. thats bad right...no no...I get my fukin liscence suspended for 1 year.

What the hell are you thinking dragging a
Z28? He could give you the next light and
still smoke you if he/she knew how to drive.
That is a 13 second 1/4 mile car stock. If
the person knows how to drive, and if they
have tweaked it like you tweaked yours, its
an easy 12 second car...

Hell, if he stopped, he probably knew the
cop was there and baited you.

driving. But to answer your question, and
assuming I'm driving my IS300. No. I would
not. Not at all. It wouldn't even cross my
mind to be honest with you.

Now, if I was driving my 89 mustang, then
hell yes. I wouldn'd rev my engine though.
I'd make eye contact, then ease it out, give
him/her the lead off the line, then light it
up and go. I hate breaking loose off line - so I give it away. I'll make it up on the top
end.

But - my Lexus is just that, it is a Lexus sport sedan. If I saw that same Z28 say at
Sears Point or Leguna Seca, and I was driving
the IS around the track, sure. I'd go after
him then.

Chances are, if he/she knows how to drive,
then they'll do better lap times than me. But, I'm not at such a huge disadvantage on
the track as I am in a stop light race. I feel that a stock IS can handle it's own around a track. I'm down 100 hp on power, but I'll get him in breaking.

This is long, sorry. So no, I wouldn't drag
him. I would road him though...

have the car insured under someone who has a good driving record. of course, that means you're not under the insurance policy. i did just that, and now i only pay $900 a YEAR. (i used to pay close to $3000).
the bad side is, if you get in an accident, and it's YOUR fault, the insurance guys could give you a headache. but hey, why do you wanna be pessimistic about that? live life optimistic and don't worry about getting in an accident.

Aside from the tight cars there is NO reason to see it more than once, MAYBE twice. Second, why the hell would you try to drag a Z28. Moron is all I can think of.
