is that supposed to be there? i bought the car a while ago and never noticed until now working on the car, this little crack on the E on the throttle body, it’s a 2001 IS300

sadly yes, i searched it up and internet kinda bogus sometimes, it says yes it’s normal and then no.

It’s a sticker not a crack

If that's a hole in the manifold, it's not supposed to be there and should be plugged. It's hard to tell from the photo, however, as there is a sticker atop that area as noted.

as others have said, the letter E is not the actual throttle body, if it's truly a crack, you will get unmetered air and have weird idle issues because that area is after the MAF sensor
