Hi,
I have just bought 4 tokico 5 way adjustable shocks and H&R springs.
I got some quotes from my local shops(in OK) but they seem to high!
One place want 250 with out alignment.
Another wanted 312 w/o alignment.
Are these prices right or should I keep looking?

Do you think that me and my friends could install them we installed the srt and ecu,I read the spring shock install guide here and I have the tools.
I am aware that I would have to rent a spring compressor(cost)
Thanks
PB

to rent a spring compressor would be cheap...

i think you can buy one for around 60-80ish

try talking to shops that would do it for a sidejob..meaning they know what they are doing but it's not a routine thing....

try talking to a non-performance-oriented shop...that does repairs...they will charge considerably less....tell them you need your shocks changed....i talked to a shop and they said around 150ish

good luck

renting a spring compressor is like 20$ a day from kragens I believe..

I paid a guy $150 to put in my springs... IMO springs are harder to install than coils...

rent a compressor, install your springs on your shocks ... then get the springs/shocks installed for cheap (real simple and shouldn't be too spendy, depends on where you go) ... then get an allign after 2 weeks of settling, or 100-200 miles... you want to wait to with your allignment until your springs have fully settled, and you have adjusted your shocks to the ride quality that you want...

just my .02 cents from my experience
