When I try to shift into reverse on my 03 is300 My gear won’t shift into it and I got to step on my clutch again and start over. It takes about couple try’s just so it goes in smoothly it’s starting to do that to my 1st gear too. I took it to this on guy he say it was my transmission fluid but I don’t know what’s wrong with it, if anyone can help me understand my problem I’ll be very thankful of it

You can try changing the transmission fluid, it does need to be changed occasionally but is often overlooked in a manual, but it is unlikely to make any difference. As Solar said most likely the clutch is not disengaging properly so is putting pressure on the gears and syncros when you are trying to engage. Typically it happens when the pressure plate springs arent working correctly, or maybe if it is hydraulic clutch the seals are starting to leak a little air into the system.
