since the paint on the 300 is soft paint, isnt it possalbe just to put a few clear coats over the normal paint? now dont flam at me, i dont know much about car paint.

most colors already have clearcoat...but it's still not hard...the factory paint is just like that...

if u were gonna do it...i'd have a really good shop do it so there are actually benefits to it instead of a few more layers of soft stuff

no shop is going to bother with reclearing a stock paint job. It's a waste of money and time. If you are really concerned with the "soft paint", get the car repainted. The term soft is incorrect, try thin. Factory only spray a coat of clear onto that car, that's why the paint is easily scratched and marked.
