a side note first... Today was a beautiful day (lower 60's) so I thought it would be the last time I could drive with the TOP down in my TT until it got too cold. So I washed/cleaned/polished the car so that the black paint shined. I was in high spirits as I put the top down and turned on my favorite tunes. I pulled out of the Garage and out of the driveway when a flock of crows that just flew over, crapped ALL OVER ME (on my head and clothes) and my LEATHER SEATS!! UGH! I was not pleased.... If I was an onlooker who witnessed that, then I would be on the rolling on the ground laughing.... go ahead guys... Laugh.. you had to be here
Anyways, back to the topic... I've heard that bird dung should always be hosed off and never wiped off (even with a wet cloth) because the tiny stone/sediment would do some major damage to the paint (especially dark colors)....

Thanks Kota
Odd though there was no bird stuff on the exterior of my car... only myself and the passenger leather seat... So I was being targeted...

I would try an "As Seen On TV" product...hehe. Really though, some of those products do work. Quick N Brite does work quite well and it is safe for use on leather (not suede). If you don't know what it is, it comes in a white container and is a pink jelly type of thing. Works real well.

That was the second thing I did after backing into the garage... The first thing I did was get the bird dung off of the leather...

Something similar happened to me last week. I had just gotten the car washed and I pulled up outside the office and parked. I was inside for 25 minutes tops, the car was COVERED in bird crap. Must have been a low flying flock or something!
