I saw the chrome and the polished on two SBM IS's at the Seattle dealer and the polished looked MUCH better with the blue, the chrome just looked too akward on the blue, although it looks good on silver, white, yellow, and even the green.
But that's MY opinion, so do what looks best to you of course.
I want to get polished for my SBM, but can't spend money on them right now. I'll probably get them within the next year though.
