Ok It's starting to ice over here in MD and I think I might need some tires other then the summer tires these fools at Lexus have given me. I'm thinking of getting either the

Nitto
NT 450 Extreme Performance
Ultra high performance in all seasons Z-Rated
215/45ZR-17
UTQG: 300AA

Or the

Pirelli
P7000 Supersport
Ultra high performance year round
P215/45ZR-17 82W
UTQG: 320AA

not sure which ones will be better in the snow. Anyone have any experience with these tires that they can send this way. I need this info fast. Don't want to do the winter tire thing cause it doesn't snow that much here.

i would have to bet on the pirelli's. nitto makes good drag radials, but not real good all weather tires. by the way, you are kinda late, based on me looking out my window.

I was in Tysons last night when the ice started to form on the sidewalks. Luckily the beltway was okay, but I had my SNOW mode on for good measure. Glad to see the morning commute was smooth today though
